Archive Shaping Up! This week has been a productive one for the ASIFA-Hollywood Animation Archive. We've added the B&W Mickey Mouse cartoons to our collection, and we set up our exhibit space. Up for viewing right now is a collection of drawings from the Fleischer Studios. Included are Grim Natwick's character designs for the first Betty Boop cartoons, drawings by Willard Bowsky and Charlie Thorson, and model sheets from the Popeye series.

We also purchased desks for the Archive workstations, and they will be arriving tomorrow. When these are assembled, all we will have left to do is move the library in. There are plans for that to happen by the end of February.
